It has been almost one year since Baltic Aviation Academy first introduced Ground Handling training services for the self-sponsored and corporate client segments. The first year has been educational and most definitely successful in the number of markets reached, contacts made, and deals signed.

Since the training service introduction to the public, Baltic Aviation Academy kept a clear focus on Asian, European and CIS markets. This has been a positive business development decisions that brought clients from Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Estonia, Italy, and Lithuania. The most popular training courses among the clients over the first year were Ramp Services, Load Control, Passenger handling, Dangerous goods, Load Master, Flight Dispatcher and a number of other courses as well as recurrent training. Over the first year, company even gained loyal customers that keep coming back for recurrent and new training.

Another business aspect that helped to gain a reasonable market share is the cost sensitive solution that Baltic Aviation Academy is able to offer for its clients. Due to the specific work related regulations, a number of customers prefer to be trained in the home base. This gives trainees an advantage of mastering the necessary skills in the work setting right away, and most importantly, provides company the most economic solution when only the instructor needs to travel for the training instead of the entire group of trainees.

“According to the Research and Markets conducted industry analysis, Ground Handling market is estimated to grow by 5,62% and reach $456.76 billion by 2020. We believe that Baltic Aviation Academy has entered the Ground Handling training market at the perfect moment and will continue to provide clients with valuable solutions through the efficiency and quality approach”, commented Martynas Mazeika, Product Manager at Baltic Aviation Academy.
