On September 28th, BAA Training Vietnam held a welcoming event for the Malaysian low–cost carrier, MYAirline, at its facility in Ho Chi Minh City. The Parties have signed an agreement for Training Airline’s needs and the first batch of Type Rating A320 course started training today.

Vytautas Jankauskas, Managing Director of BAA Training Vietnam, says: “BAA Training Vietnam is known for its comprehensive, cutting-edge pilot training programs for aspiring pilots based on the EASA Standards. We are proud to have received a Certificate of Approval Approved Training Organization (ATO) from various aviation authorities, including Thailand, Cambodia, Mongolia, Laos, MOLIT, and most recently, Malaysia. These approvals highlight our dedication to meeting international training standards and ensuring that we provide the best high-quality training for the Asian Aviation Market. After having been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, we are incredibly happy to start working with the Malaysian market by welcoming MYAirline to BAA Training Vietnam. We believe this tight cooperation with MYAirline will allow us to combine our efforts and prepare the necessary number of highly skilled pilots to meet the needs of the Airline Environment.”

Mr. Rayner Teo, Chief Executive Officer of MYAirline, said, “One of the critical factors that led us to select BAA Training Vietnam was their exceptional commitment to our fast-paced expansion plans. We require a partner who can keep up with our rapid growth and provide us with the necessary resources to meet our aviation training requirements, especially on the training curriculum that is aligned with Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia’s (CAAM) guidelines. I am pleased that we have embarked on this partnership as it gave us the assurance that our pilots will receive training that meets the highest industry standards.”

Representatives from both companies attended today’s event. MYAirline was represented by Captain Niazi (Chief Pilot Training and Standards), and Captain Hon Mun Wah (PPN – Training and Standards Manager, Flight Operations Department).
