We have recently launched a first-in-the-market EASA ATPL Integrated with Type Rating program, which provides our students with a convenient and consistent pathway from zero aviation experience to an airline-ready First Officer. Below please find the answers to the frequently asked questions about this one and only pilot training program held in Europe and Vietnam!

Where will I study?

Your ATPL Integrated training journey will begin in Europe, where the aviation industry is a strategically important industry for many countries. You will do your theory in Spain or Lithuania and then proceed to flight training in Spain. For ATPL theory, there is an option to select virtual classroom training, allowing you to connect virtually from whichever spot you want anywhere in the world.

Then, you will cover your Type Rating in Europe or Vietnam with the possibility of choosing a preferred aircraft type. If you opt for flying the A320 type of aircraft, we will organize your Type Rating phase in a brand-new training centre in Ho Chi Minh city. If you choose B737 CL, B737 MAX or B737NG, you will travel to our Lithuanian or Spanish training centre.

What shall I expect during the assessment?

You are likely to get questions about the pilot job, difficulties, and most significant challenges a pilot might face at work. It is crucial to demonstrate motivation and passion for taking up this pilot career path. You will also be given a test that allows evaluating:

  • Personal traits and competencies (Operational, Interactive, Motivational),
  • Skills and cognitive abilities (Complex control, Monitoring ability, Respond speed, Multitasking, Mechanical reasoning, etc.) and
  • English language proficiency (Speaking, Listening, Grammar).

What is Type Rating?

Type Rating is a regulating agency’s certification of an airplane pilot to fly a specific aircraft type (A320, B737CL, B737 NG, or other) that requires additional training beyond the scope of the initial license. It comprises theoretical and practical elements, with the practical part including training in a full flight simulator.

How long does the training take?

ATPL Integrated course takes up to 10 months or up to 12 months if you enroll in virtual classroom training. Type Rating theory lasts for 18-21 days, while full flight simulator training takes 12-14 days.

I have already finished PPL. Will the total training cost be reduced?

For those who have finished PPL, we have special conditions. They get a discount from the original package price, and their VFR training phase is reduced. However, we can name the exact final price only after the candidate successfully passes the assessment and after we examine all the documents related to the candidate’s previous flight experience.

Can I pay the training fee in installments?

There is a flexible payment option. You will set a precise individual payment plan with one of our consultants. Hopefully, we’ve shed some light on what’s important to you! However, if something remains questionable, do speak to us! Also, subscribe to our newsletter not to miss any important news!
