On Wednesday, Baltic Aviation Academy held a second graduation ceremony this year for a group of CPL Modular and ATPL(A) Integrated students. Compared to the last year, academy has grown in student numbers and in 2014 has more than doubled the number of ATPL Integrated, CPL Modular, and PPL graduates compared to the 2013 number.

In order to be able to congratulate all the graduates in a memorable way, academy chose to host the ceremony in a very unusual setting for pilots – vintage movie theater. This allowed making and presenting a great movie about the students’ time at the academy and enhancing it with the wishes, greetings and good memories from instructors, fellow students and academy’s staff.

Six students from Lithuania, Slovenia, Libya, Belarus and Russia had moved to Lithuania more than two years ago and joined Baltic Aviation Academy’s Ab Initio School to start their pilot studies. After spending 21 or more months doing an intensive learning program and passing all the CAA examination they have finally graduated with their licenses. Students received congratulatory speeches from the Director of Ab Initio School, Ground Chief Instructor and had a chance to express their gratefulness for their parents for the opportunity to work towards their dream for the past two years.

“This is the second graduation that we are hosting this year. It is exciting to see young and bright men finally joining the real aviation world and moving on to pursue their careers. They have worked hard and been eager to finally hold that initial license in their hands since the first day, and today they all celebrated the completion of that first step with us”, commented Agata Pradedovic, Head of Product Development Division at Baltic Aviation Academy.

Currently, Baltic Aviation Academy’s Ab Initio School has over 70 students who come from various countries like Finland, Sweden, Libya, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and of course, Lithuania. Students are engaged in Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Airline Transport Pilot license studies as well as joined Aviation Management and Pilot License studies. In addition to that, over 2014 school has acquired five additional aircraft for aviation training and is currently a holder of the largest fleet among the private aviation academies in the country.
