The aviation training centre Baltic Aviation Academy (Vilnius, Lithuania) is set to take part in the 1st ASEAN Aviation Training & Education summit 2013 (AATES) hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 22nd – 23rd of January. AATES 2013 will focus on the issues related to HR shortage in the civil aviation industry.

The key objective of the summit is to establish a solid regional platform for exchange of ideas and perspectives with regard to scarce human resources in civil aviation. The participants will also share the most effective best practices in training and education initiatives within the ASEAN region. This event is a joint initiative by JAA TO, ICAO, ECAC and the Indonesian Ministry of Transport, Human Resources Development Agency and the Directorate of Civil Aviation. For the first time the 3 most influential aviation organizations in the world (JAA TO, ECAC and ICAO) will jointly support such an inaugural event in Indonesia.

‘Throughout years of practice Baltic Aviation Academy has accumulated extensive theoretical knowledge and practical know-how in the field of aviation training. Our expertise will surely contribute to the joint endeavour to equip local aviation players in the Asian-Pacific region with better tools for solving their HR-related issues. Our experts have spent years researching new methods of improving human resource management to ensure the highest standard of training,’ said Egle Vaitkeviciute, the Chief Executive Officer of Baltic Aviation Academy.

In the beginning of 2012 Baltic Aviation Academy decided to invest additional resources in developing its position in the rapidly expanding aviation markets across the Asia-Pacific region. The decision to increase its focus on these particular markets was primarily driven by the growing regional demand for qualified aviation personnel. Baltic Aviation Academy has started to adapt European standard training programs and assigned its aviation specialists to the region.

Baltic Aviation Academy invites you to visit Booth 3 at the exhibition where the company’s representatives will be more than willing to introduce all provided services, answer any aviation training-related questions, consult with regard to a number of HR issues in the industry or discuss potential cooperation and partnerships.
