Aviation training centre, Baltic Aviation Academy, has announced the beginning of the admissions season to its Ab Initio School. Students-to-be are invited to apply for the training courses for the Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Integrated Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), Aviation Management Bachelor and Flight Instructor studies. The studies begin in the August-September 2014.
Currently, Ab Initio School has 70 students who are receiving their theoretical training in Vilnius and are doing the practical part of the training in Kaunas Aerodrome. Training base is equipped with modern teaching equipment. Every student receives their student kit that includes study and flight material. The kit will be their guide for the pilot’s seat over the course. Academy has 11 aircraft: nine Tecnam P2002, one Tecnam P2006 and one Cessna 172. Students will use these airplanes for the training in Kaunas.
Students who wish to gain a higher education degree in aviation are offered to join Aviation Management study program. Current program runs in conjunction with Kazimieras Simonavicius University enabling students to get Aviation Management bachelor degree along with the pilot license.
