Last week representatives of the aviation industry gathered in Ireland. Hosted by the Irish Aviation Administration and Dublin International Aviation Training Academy ICAO Global Aviation and Trainair Plus Symposium gathered attendees from all the continents. Training centers, airlines, airports, consultation companies united by the similar training challenges discussed the role of training functions, financial, regulatory, technological and competencies issues. During the themed conference sessions and workshops attendees discussed possible solutions and shared best practices.
While discussing the challenges of aviation training, a great deal of attention has been devoted towards the human resource challenges. According to the Airbus Training, today’s technology allows performing training with the help of a simple laptop. However, it is important to pay attention to the fact that there are many people whose adaptation to the technology is slower; therefore it is necessary to ensure that instructors are competent and willing to work with such students.
“Smooth technology integration into the daily human recourse activities is extremely important not only to increase the competency of the training providers but also to raise the effectiveness of business processes. With various technological solutions for training management efficiency, MOMook is able to offer businesses’ work processes improving software that builds productivity and minimizes errors. This way industry has all the needed resources to potentially produce the highest training performance results”, comments Dainius Meilunas, Business Development Director at Baltic Aviation Academy.
