Boeing 737 NG Type Rating Structure

The Boeing 737 NG Type Rating program provides comprehensive training through classroom instruction and simulator sessions, ensuring pilots are fully qualified to operate the B737 NG aircraft.

The theoretical training consists of computer-based training (CBT), theory, and CPT sessions.

The distance learning option is also available for the theoretical part of the training, allowing for more flexibility.

The flight phase consists of sessions on the Boeing 737 NG full flight simulator (FFS) and a final Skill Test session to pass the Type Rating.

Each session provides flight training for two pilots, with the time divided between Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring roles.

During this stage, you will improve your Type Rating skills by completing six take-offs, landings, and one go-around on a real Boeing 737 NG aircraft. The training takes place at a chosen airport and is completed in one day.

For your convenience, you can enhance your Boeing 737 NG Type Rating course with various additional courses to acquire extra or necessary pilot skills.

Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course: gives you practical training in operating multi-pilot, multi-engine aircraft under IFR conditions.

Jet Orientation Course (JOC): advanced course emphasizing multi-crew cooperation and readiness for type rating and airline operations.
