The theoretical training consists of computer-based training (CBT), theory, and IPT sessions.
The flight phase consists of sessions (including LOFT*) on the brand-new Airbus A320 full flight simulator (FFS) and a Skill Test session to pass the Type Rating.
*LOFT – Line-Oriented Flight Training is carried out in an FFS as part of initial or recurrent flight crew training.
For your convenience, you can enhance your Airbus A320 Type Rating course with various additional courses to acquire extra or necessary pilot skills.
Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course: gives you practical training in operating multi-pilot, multi-engine aircraft under IFR conditions.
Jet Introduction Course (JIC): helps you smoothly transition from piston-engine aircraft to jet airline operations. In this course, you will improve your pilot handling skills, gain a deeper understanding of the jet environment, and prepare for an airline simulation assessment.
For an additional fee, you can enhance your Airbus A320 Type Rating course by adding Base Training.
Base Training: During this stage, you will improve your Type Rating skills by completing six take-offs, landings, and one go-around on a real Airbus A320 aircraft. The training takes place at a chosen airport and is completed in one day.
