‘Conducting flights outside the borders of Lithuania puts student in a situation that professional pilots are facing everyday: radio communication with foreigner air traffic controllers, knowledge of air laws, flight planning and so on. It is the next-to-last training of our ‘almost’ graduates who after intensive exams at CAA are steadily approaching their dream’, commented Indre Sveistryte, Head of Flight Training Organization at Baltic Aviation Academy.
The objective of the Modular Instrument Rating (IR(A)) modular flight training course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to operate airplanes under the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).
