Baltic Aviation Academy, aviation training academy announced new updates on their Boeing 737 full flight simulator. Working in partnership with simulator maintenance experts – SimHelp, engineer installed new updates to the Flight Management System (FMS) computer.
Now full flight simulator operates the newest U10.8A program version, which allowed increasing the amount of data of the program up to 14 times. Therefore broader airport selection can be offered during the type rating training. Customers can also choose to use their aircraft FMS database during the training, as systems are directly compatible now.
“The recent update improves the quality of the training eliminating any functional differences between the FMS in a full flight simulator and FMS in the clients’ aircraft, while increasing the capacity of data to provide clients with even more options in terms of training. In other words, this FMS upgrade stresses on the flexibility and focus on a clients’ needs which are the foundation of our daily work”, comments Julius Seskauskas, Head of Engineering Department at Baltic Aviation Academy.
